Ballista Competition 2001

The Scout Troop took part in the District Ballista Competition at Caddihoe on Sunday 28 October.
	One of four troops taking part, we successfully managed to secure fourth place! Our failing was the distance our ammunition actually flew (8 metres!). We did extremely well when marked for the construction and teamwork involved and would have actually won the whole thing if we had managed to get the greatest distance overall. Well done to all the lads who came along - they are all now experts in square lashing!
