Our normal Cub Meetings are on Monday evenings at the Scout Hut. We do loads of different stuff, including playing games. We play lots of different types of games. Sometimes active games . . |

. . and sometimes tests of skill. |
We also learn a lot of useful things, like First Aid. But even when we're learning real, life-saving, First Aid, it can turn into fun! This is a bandaging race, using loo rolls instead of bandages! |

We try to get outside as much as we can, when the weather is fine. So some Monday evenings we don't stay in the Hut, we go to the woods to explore or play wide games. This is when we went to Danes Wood at night. We played a wide game, then had a rope bridge to go across. |
Sometimes, too, we have a day out or excursion. In the summer we went on a day trip to the Gorse Blossom Miniature Railway and to Dartmoor. Click here to see some pictures of our trip. |

We offer Archery as a regular additional activity. This takes place at the Scout Hut, normally on Saturday mornings, and is supervised by qualified archery leaders. For safety reasons and to allow proper tuition we only take a few boys each week, and boys are invited when its their turn. We instruct archery as a skill, not just 'a bit of fun', and aim to give boys a sound foundation in the sport, for those who might want to take it further. |
We go camping, of course. As well as the main camp we also have some weekend camps. Every year in April or May we have a weekend camp specially for boys who have not camped as Cub Scouts before. It is called the YBC - the Young Boys Camp. Click here to see some pictures from the YBC in 2002. |

And every year we try to have at least one weekend camp just for the older boys - a Sixers' Camp. Click here to see some pictures of the challenges at the Sixers' Camp in 2001. |
We don't have normal Meetings during the school holidays, but during the Summer Holidays we try to have special informal meetings instead. One meeting during the summer we made catapults and had a battle. Click here to see some pictures from our battle. |
