Hike at Clyst St Mary

Click on the photos if you want to see them bigger.

One evening in the summer term we went out to Clyst St Mary for a hike.

The hike started along a country road (that's why some of the adults are wearing reflective jackets) but then went onto public footpaths across farm land.

Some of the fields had just been plowed, and the paths had been plowed out, so the boys who were leading had to be accurate with their navigation to make sure we were on the right of way.

Bridge

We knew we were going right when we hit the footbridge over the stream spot on!

The footpath through the next field was a bit wider!

And just before getting back to the road we stopped for a drink and a donut while we waited for the parents to come.

And does that boy never stop grinning?
